I created this list for myself so I wouldn’t miss anything when I was getting ready to run my next session.

This checklist gives a framework for planning and preparing before game night and building your story upon what has happened previously.

Each session is different with it’s own encounters, pacing and flow. If we can embrace the differences each session brings us, the natural flow of a good story can evolve.

The Session Creation checklist covers ideas about putting obstacles and enemies in the way of your players. Making combat just a little more exciting, and putting players abilities to good use. You’ll get ideas about foreshadowing plots, following what the enemies are doing, and slowly adding lore to your game world.
